About the role

The Senior Software Engineer, Developer Platform will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software components that enable developers to build innovative applications using our platform. This role requires expertise in modern web technologies and a strong understanding of software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for the Developer Platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers
• Implement new features and enhancements to improve developer productivity and satisfaction
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and continuous integration
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the Developer Platform

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with modern web technologies such as React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL)
• Understanding of security principles and practices relevant to software development

Skills

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization
• Experience with API design and security

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
