Senior Software Engineer/Developer

About the role

Fives DyAG Corp. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer for their Wixom, MI office. The role involves working in various environments and locations, requiring strong technical knowledge, sound experience, and people skills to solve issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and design documents
• Design, develop, and test software
• Review existing code
• Develop web-based applications
• Able to travel to customer sites as needed
• Function in a team to meet customer needs and tight deadlines within budget
• May serve as a project lead, overseeing technical execution of software initiatives from concept through delivery
• Manage timelines, anticipate risks, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and ensure consistent meeting of project goals, quality standards, and performance expectations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience minimum
• Prior project lead/management experience is a plus
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with .NET, C#, VB, HTML, JAVA, SQL Server/Data Structure, Python, ASP.NET, mobile development for iOS and Android, web-based application, UI design and development, and exposure to SCADA software such as Ignition or related
• A strong mathematical/algorithm building background is very helpful

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or technical field related to Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or similar
