Senior Software Engineer (Contingent)

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of scalable and maintainable software systems
• Drive value stream initiatives within an agile framework
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and security
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to roadmap planning
• Promote Domain-Driven Design and review new technologies for efficiency
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business goals into technical requirements
• Support and mentor mid-level engineering team members

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree required; M.S. preferred
• 8+ years of experience building large-scale multi-tier applications with technologies like Ruby, J2EE, JavaScript, and Python
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining JSON APIs
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
