Join CBS Sports Digital and help build the web experiences that millions of sports fans use every day across CBSSports.com and our apps. We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join our Content Management team, a small engineering group that partners closely with design and product to turn ideas into fast, accessible, production-grade fan experiences. You will own the quality of what fans see and feel: how fast pages load, how components behave, and how reliably we ship. Candidates with Lead-level scope are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Build Front-End Features: Design and ship production-grade features for web using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, from prototype through launch.
• Own Performance: Improve and protect Core Web Vitals through rendering strategy, code splitting, lazy loading, and image and asset optimization.
• Contribute to Standards: Build and evolve reusable components and shared patterns that scale across the organization.
• Collaborate and Prototype: Work with design and product to quickly design, develop, and test solutions to key business challenges.
• Raise the Bar on Code Quality: Review code for style, testability, accessibility, and efficiency, and mentor engineers on front-end best practices.
