Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Remote)

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a contract Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize software systems to meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design for long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in relevant technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Pay

$50 - $150/hour
