Senior Software Engineer, Backend (ML Feature Platform)

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead your team in delivering quarterly goals and navigate ambiguity to solve complex problems
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics in the product development lifecycle
• Identify, advocate for, and resolve project, process, or business issues
• Monitor team artifacts' operations, support on-call efforts, and create relevant metrics
• Cultivate a culture of quality and ownership by setting and improving code standards
• Develop talent in your team through guidance and feedback

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend system design and development using Python or Kotlin
• Proven track record of creating highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Ability to define technical plans for significant features or system components with elegant designs
• Proficient in managing large code bases and developing enabling tools and practices
• Demonstrated ownership of personal growth through feedback
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration

Pay

$153,000 – $213,000 annually
