Responsibilities
- Assist in the modernization of our Identity & Access Management (IAM) data platforms and applications.
- Drive the transformation of legacy SQL environments into a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Lakehouse architecture, enabling scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and approved code-centric agents).
- Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Apply strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI-assisted outputs into solutions.
- Understand and account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations.
- Apply AI responsibly in development and production environments.
- Ensure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages including Java, C#, C++, or Python.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Angular, REST services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or DB2.
- Cloud engineering experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, EMR, Glue, Athena, or S3.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills with experience processing and validating large datasets.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, access management, and application compliance frameworks.
Qualifications
