Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview

Senior Software Engineer: Perform integration testing of deliverables; Perform ad-hoc analysis and develop reproducible analytical approaches to meet business requirements; Perform exploratory and targeted data analysis using descriptive statistics and other methods; Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to large data sets to find actionable insights; Perform integration testing of deliverables; Support senior developers, team leads, architects and project staff to deliver high level estimates; Provide and maintain documentation for all developed objects and processes; and Develop and run test scripts to ensure the quality of code and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or any related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent)
• 5 years of experience utilizing the Hadoop Ecosystem
• Five years of experience must also include designing models that leverage data sources and technologies
• Utilizing tools to include Python, Spark, Azure, Hive, Data Ingestion Techniques and Impala
• Essential travel on assignment to various unanticipated client sites within the U.S.
