The Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and supports high-quality software solutions that address complex business needs. This role partners with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable applications while promoting best practices in software design, performance, and security. The position provides technical leadership by mentoring team members, guiding development efforts, and contributing to architectural decisions.
This role is hybrid; you must be able to come into the Warwick, RI office.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and reliable software that meets business and user needs.
- Lead or contribute to the design and delivery of complex software features and enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other software engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Recommend improvements to applications, development processes, and system performance.
- Support software deployments and follow established change management and development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, application architecture, and system design.
- Experience with performance optimization, application monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively partner with business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $104,600 - $157,000, which includes geographic adjustments where applicable. The range reflects the company’s good-faith belief at the time of posting and may vary based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and skill level.
