Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on autonomous robotics software with a focus on surgical applications. This role requires developing controls, planning, and ML algorithms for high-accuracy execution, along with interfaces for users. You will work on a small, highly technical team where contributions have immediate impact.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance code
• Develop and support robotics software, database integration, interfaces, and new features
• Architect robust software systems
• Support testing and deployment
• Participate in code reviews

Requirements

• C++, Python, Linux
• Expertise in C++ and/or Python
• Strong coding fundamentals
• Experience working with Linux-based systems
• Experience with cloud technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field
• 3+ years of relevant robotics experience

Skills

• Experience with ROS/ROS2
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in medical or healthcare technologies

Benefits

• Compensation Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000
• Equity: Offered (no bonus program)
