At Realtor, our technology team participates in the research and development of scalable applications, identifying new technologies and trends to enhance our products and business.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI coding assistants and LLMs proficiently to accelerate development velocity, generate boilerplate, and troubleshoot complex debugging scenarios.
  • Provide system-wide view and design guidance to the squad members and influence the design decisions made by other teams.
  • Guide the team in making the right trade-offs between short-term requirements and the long-term business/operational success of the squad.
  • Mentor by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, and team planning.
  • Work on project ideas with Product Management and engage with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to system architecture and design
  • Experience in software development and a strong willingness to learn our technology stack, including: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, NumPy, Pandas), React, Node.js, and GraphQL
  • Experience with cloud systems (AWS preferred)
  • Knowledge with data platforms and pipelines (snowflake & airflow preferred)
  • Experience working with relational or non-relational databases
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with AI and ML, with a willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies
  • Experience delivering high value to customers quickly and frequently, with regular feedback and support
  • Experience evaluating trade-offs between design approaches
  • Software engineering best practices (e.g., testing, code reviews, documentation)
  • Experience in developing scalable systems

Qualifications
