Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Engineer will play a senior role in a team responsible for delivering particular features of the MDM platform. This includes presenting solutions to Architects, driving feature delivery, making technical decisions, and leading the development of these features.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Architects, Kanban master, QA, and PM to deliver high-quality work.
• Regularly conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Be ready to make daily technical decisions and communicate effectively with other cross-functional team representatives.
• Ensure good code coverage in unit and integration testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
• 3+ years of experience in backend applications development.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions and offer implementation support to customers.
• 2-3 years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology.
• Strong technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers.
• Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above), including Java Runtime basics.
• Experience in performance optimizations, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon AWS, Azure, or GCP and their services.
• Experience with managed databases like AWS DynamoDB, Google BigQuery, GCP Bigtable, and Azure CosmosDB.
• Experience with managed queue services such as AWS SQS, Google PubSub, and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience in cloud security principles.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies.
• Experience in customer support in SaaS area.
