Senior Software Engineer

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality applications
• Own features end-to-end from architecture and development through testing and deployment
• Architect and evolve core tech stack (Python, FastAPI, etc.)
• Translate complex business requirements into reliable tech solutions
• Drive improvements in performance and CI/CD practices
• Mentor engineers for a culture of excellence
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong experience building APIs and backend services in Python
• Experience deploying containerized applications in AWS environments
• Experience in real estate finance or financial services preferred

Pay

Compensation: $160,000 – $180,000 annually
