Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Role Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
Build and orchestrate cloud-native applications, leveraging modern backend technologies
Mentor junior team members and drive engineering best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design and implementation
Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong programming experience in Java with extensive Spring Framework expertise (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security)
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including PostGIS for geospatial data processing
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proven ability to design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
