Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Clover's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability across the payments space.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring.
- 5+ years of experience in Micro Service design and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience REST api design.
- 5+ years of experience in handling the large scale Distributed system.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL databases, involving design of tables, optimizing queries.
- 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Qualifications
Experience That Would Be Great To Have: Experience in the financial services industry.
Benefits
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $210,000.00. These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. It is unlawful to discriminate against a prospective employee due to the individual's status as a veteran.

Schedule
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
Skills
Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization required. Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
