Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will:

• Develop childcare/daycare directory listings using open-source web development frameworks such as Next.js, React, Typescript, MUI5, Micro frontends, and GraphQL;
• Design and build front-end reusable and scalable components for other applications;
• Troubleshoot application production issues and categorize and prioritize them during outages;
• Mentor other software engineers and developers to facilitate career growth and team productivity;
• Implement Playwright end-to-end automation tests for the provider network, a Small Medium Businesses (SMB) applications;
• Implement GraphQL mutations and run queries for UI data presentation, leveraging user experience enhancements such as animations and transitions;
• Perform code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and improve security;
• Write tests for React components using React Testing Library with a minimum of 85% code coverage;
• Maintain web applications with the latest features and technologies to improve performance and provide customers with the best quality product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related technical role.
• Position also requires any amount of experience in each of the following skills: React, Typescript, GraphQL, React Testing Library, Material UI5, Responsive Web Design, Splunk, Sentry; Next.js, Playwright Automation, Database, and ngTable
