Senior Software Engineer

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
- Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer to define feature specifications and build products
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
- Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

Experience And Qualifications
- Required Education and Years of Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 14+ years of experience Four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
- Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Experience with the following software development skills:
- Git
- Java, C++, and/or Python
- Relational database, such as Postgres
- Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with:
- Docker/Kubernetes
- HAProxy
- Nginx
- Elastic Stack
Pay Range
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. $175,000 - $210,000
