Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications across frontend, backend, API, integration, and database layers.
- Drive technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions that promote scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Take ownership of complex features and initiatives from concept through production deployment and ongoing support.
- Contribute to system modernization efforts, technical roadmaps, and continuous platform improvements.
- Partner with architects and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy.
- Lead by example through strong engineering practices and collaboration.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive software development experience with demonstrated success delivering enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Strong proficiency in C# or similar object-oriented programming languages, applying SOLID principles and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Solid front-end development experience using Angular or similar frameworks, building responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching systems including SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Redis with understanding of schema design and query optimization.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable RESTful APIs, micro or domain-bounded services, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and modern cloud architecture patterns.
- Experience with containerization technologies and modern deployment methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration System is a plus.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or serving as a technical lead on significant projects.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus on technical decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
