About the role
Belay Technologies is seeking a Backend Software Engineer (SWE3) to join our intel team. This candidate should have technical experience with:
Responsibilities
- Technical experience with: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Git, Docker, Kubernetes, HAProxy, Nginx, Node.js, Angular, React, NoSQL databases, relational databases
- Full software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience that includes: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
- Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
- Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems
Qualifications
- Twenty (20) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Twenty-four (24) years of development experience may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree

Salary Range: $190,000 to $240,000
