Responsibilities

• Model, design, develop, integrate, debug, test, field, and support electronic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a strong embedded software development background.
• 5+ years of experience developing embedded software solutions.
• Experience integrating and testing functionality directly on target hardware.
• Familiarity with the C/C++ language and assembly language programming.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to proactively communicate with team members.
• Technical communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly describe planned technical solutions and document complex issues.

Preferred

• 5+ years of experience in aviation-related embedded control systems.
• Experience with multi-tasking and multi-core software execution environments.
• Experience with ARM cores, ARM tools, and software supporting ARM IP.
• Experience developing processor support packages, board support packages, and low-level hardware device drivers.
• Experience with various communication interfaces and board internal digital buses.
• Experience with safety critical development processes and software security concepts.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Cross-domain knowledge in engineering disciplines beyond software engineering.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $88,189 - $149,922
