Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join AVEVA’s Common Cloud Platform team to help design and build the foundation that powers our industrial software portfolio in the cloud. You’ll work on Microsoft Azure to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that enable customers to reduce IT costs and accelerate digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver infrastructure and data solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements
• Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis, and implement mitigation strategies
• Implement secure development practices and support compliance and security-related activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and implementation artifacts

Requirements

• Strong software development experience in C# (.NET) or Node.js
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and authentication/authorization concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerized environments
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices, including threat modeling

Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote.

Pay

$124,200.00 - $207,000.00
