Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Develop and maintain HPC infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, container platform) to support scalable, high-performance workloads across products.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve HPC infrastructure (compute clusters, storage, networking stack)
• Deliver stable, scalable, and production-ready infrastructure platforms
• Improve system throughput, utilization, and reliability
• Build capabilities for resource management, scheduling, and isolation
• Enable containerization and cloud/on-prem hybrid deployments
• Implement system observability (metrics, logging, health monitoring)
• Identify and mitigate scalability limits, integration risks, and system-wide impact early
• Support product teams in onboarding, debugging, and performance tuning

Skills

• Strong programming (C++/Python/Go or similar)
• HPC or distributed infrastructure experience (cluster, storage, networking)
• Kubernetes/container ecosystem, resource orchestration
• Performance tuning (CPU, memory, IO, network)
• Systems-level debugging and root cause analysis

Pay

The current base annual salary range for this role is $147,750–221,625. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities, and internal equity.
