Skills

  • Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, REST Web Services, Hibernate, MySQL, and JUnit
  • Strong experience building backend systems, APIs, and microservices in large enterprises or SaaS environments
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments such as AWS EC2, ECS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and SQS
  • Experience with scripting languages such as bash, Python, or JavaScript
  • Strong experience working in Agile Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools (GitLab), automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD
  • Strong experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, and relational databases
  • Ability to create technical designs, document solutions clearly, and communicate architecture effectively
  • Ability to assess and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, maintainability, security, and alignment with engineering standards
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work Itself

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications using Java and modern cloud-native architecture
  • Contribute to frontend development including support for user-facing features and full-stack solutions when needed
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable software designs and implementation plans, provide estimates and communicate tradeoffs and risks clearly
  • Write clean, reusable, secure, and high-quality code that aligns with engineering standards and best practices
  • Address vulnerabilities on regular bases and always on a look for opportunities of enhancements
  • Contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making across projects
  • Demonstrate ownership of deliverables from design through deployment and production support
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and agents to improve engineering productivity, accelerate delivery, enhance code quality, and support activities such as code generation, refactoring, test creation, documentation, and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and apply AI-assisted development practices responsibly, including validating outputs, maintaining code quality, and ensuring alignment with security and engineering standards
  • Provide informal technical leadership through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and guidance on design and implementation approaches
  • Participate in and help lead agile ceremonies and technical sessions, including sprint planning, design reviews, backlog refinement, code reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support automated testing, continuous integration, and CI/CD practices across the software delivery lifecycle
