Senior Software Engineer / AI Product / Python / LLM

Responsibilities

• AI / LLM-based development (RAG, agents, workflows)
• Backend engineering (APIs, data, systems)
• Architecture and system design
• Frontend / user-facing features
• Cloud and infrastructure
• Build and deploy AI-powered applications end-to-end
• Partner with stakeholders to define and scope solutions
• Design system architecture and integration approaches
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on new ideas
• Optimize and maintain production systems

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with some client-facing or stakeholder interaction
• Strong Python development experience and ability to build production-ready systems
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs (prompting, RAG, or similar patterns)
• Proven ability to take solutions from concept/prototype into production
• Experience designing scalable systems and integrating with existing applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical teams
• Experience with APIs, data pipelines, and structured/unstructured data
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or full-stack development
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search
• Background in consulting, startups, or fast-paced environments
• Industry experience in financial services, real estate, or private equity
• Experience building internal tools, automation workflows, or AI-driven products

Qualifications

• Base salary up to $225,000
