Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core infrastructure and SDKs for AI capabilities
- Collaborate with Applied and Data Scientists to create production-grade AI services
- Design robust data pipelines with Data Engineers for real-time AI context
- Facilitate onboarding of various engineering teams onto the AI platform
- Design and document user-friendly public AI interfaces for developers
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers on efficient AI application deployment
- Develop test cases for AI workflows ensuring reliability in a non-deterministic environment
Qualifications
- Expert-level API and service development in Python (required) and/or Go
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and multi-agent systems
- Strong communication skills across technical domains like Data Science and Product management
- Deep understanding of cloud-native principles, including security and scalable design
- Experience with observability tools to monitor AI performance and analyze software errors
- Proficient with container-based development (Docker) and source control (Git)
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
