Senior Software Engineer, AI-Native Platform (Remote)

For our client, a leader in the Food & Beverages space, we are seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer to join their AI-Native Platform team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. Responsibilities

• Build shared services and APIs to support core platform capabilities
• Design and implement reliable backend systems for business-critical use cases
• Effectively apply AI throughout the software development lifecycle
• Contribute reusable engineering patterns to enhance AI collaboration
• Partner cross-functionally to translate complex problems into actionable tasks
• Ensure quality through robust testing and production issue management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering focused on backend systems and APIs
• Strong understanding of AI-native software delivery practices
• Proficiency in Go or deep expertise in a similar backend language (e.g., Java)
• Experience with transactional databases like Postgres or Aurora
• Solid background in API design, service boundaries, and integration patterns
• Comfortable with event-driven architectures and operational complexities
• Strong communication skills and high ownership of technical projects

Pay

$158,000 – $190,000 annually
