Senior Software Engineer, AI-Enabled Production Tools

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI-Enabled Production Tools to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will focus on building and supporting AI-enabled engineering and production tools that improve how teams create, validate, and manage complex digital content and workflows. You will own tools and pipeline systems end to end, with responsibility for reliability, integration, and support in a fast-paced technical environment. The position also involves partnering closely with artists, technical artists, and engineering teams to deliver practical automation and scalable software foundations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually Responsibilities Own tools and pipeline systems from discovery to production support Build agentic workflows that manage models, tools, and services with state tracking and recovery Develop AI-enabled engineering tools for coding, testing, and workflow automation Create DCC integrations and applications tailored for artists and technical artists Maintain content pipelines for authoring, validation, and asset management Design software architecture and APIs for performance and integration Establish automated testing and monitoring for reliable operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 8+ years of software engineering experience in production tools or content pipelines 2+ years of technical leadership experience, including project management and mentoring Strong Python skills with experience in software architecture and API design Background in integrating DCC applications and supporting content workflows Experience in building multi-step AI workflows with state management and failure handling Proficient in version control, code review, and release management Benefits Equity options available Comprehensive health benefits Flexible work arrangements Professional development opportunities Collaborative and innovative work environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
