Senior Software Engineer: AI Discovery and Posture

Responsibilities

• Build AI agent discovery on top of Delinea's existing cloud discovery, covering Microsoft Azure today and expanding to AWS and Google Cloud as the platform adds those clouds.
• Extend discovery for AI agents running on endpoints.
• Assess the security posture of discovered agents, including their configuration, access rights, and potential risks.
• Integrate discovered agents and their context into Delinea's identity and attribution layer for governance purposes.
• Collaborate closely with platform teams whose discovery services your work builds upon.

Requirements

• Typically 8 or more years of experience building production cloud or SaaS backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Experience extending or integrating with existing platforms, not just greenfield builds.
• Strong skills in a modern backend language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python.
• Ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems and select sound technical approaches with limited direction.

Qualifications

• Experience with endpoint agent or device management technologies.
• Background in security or posture management such as CSPM or CIEM.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and how agents authenticate and act.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud provider APIs.
• Ability to integrate with existing platforms.
• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks.
