Senior Software Development Engineer in Test - Verification And Validation

About the role

Responsible for designing and implementing automated test cases to ensure system quality and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and project managers to validate system requirements and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and procedures
• Design and execute automated and manual test cases
• Perform regression testing to identify and report defects
• Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize testing activities
• Document test results and provide status updates to project management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in verification and validation
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments
