Responsibilities
- Design and write test plans and automated test scripts for various applications
- Analyze and improve testing pipeline scalability and performance
- Create and implement automated test frameworks
- Develop solutions for automated and load testing
- Lead complex projects to completion
- Use independent judgment in testing strategies
- Make informed recommendations to management
- Mentor other engineers in testing best practices
- Identify opportunities for automation across various testing levels
- Communicate effectively with technical and management teams about testing insights
Qualifications
- 7+ years as a software engineer or test automation engineer
- Proficient in C# or Java
- Thorough understanding of software development life cycle
- Expert in QA testing techniques and STLC
- Experience testing REST web services
- Skilled at testing backend-heavy services with minimal UI
- Practical experience using GenAI/LLMs for engineering solutions
- Experience with stress and load testing tools
