About the role

As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) on the Agentic WorkSpaces team, you will dive deep into complex technical problems while building expertise in enabling agentic-based experiences for builders and other personas. You will collaborate with scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate business and functional requirements into system deliverables, driving optimizations and raising the bar for operational excellence. Your work will involve building new 0→1 products from the ground up, shaping the future of WorkSpaces where agents and humans collaborate seamlessly.

The Agentic WorkSpaces organization is reimagining the workspace as an active partner in work, not just infrastructure. We are building a platform where people, teams, and AI collaborate securely from anywhere to create unprecedented value. Our vision includes a secure, managed environment purpose-built for human-AI collaboration at enterprise scale, where AI agents code, troubleshoot, analyze, and act alongside users, governed by the same identity and security policies.

You will lead the design and implementation of critical components such as the authorization framework, trust hierarchy, and governance mechanisms for autonomous agents. This includes audit trails, rollback mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop controls. You will also own the agent unification strategy, ensuring Windows and Linux features ship from a single codebase, and partner with teams across AWS to integrate shared infrastructure.
