Senior Software Developer (Storage)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative storage solutions, driving Oracle's cloud infrastructure forward.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage services seamlessly into the overall cloud architecture.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in storage technologies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging storage technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality software development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues, offering timely and effective solutions to maintain system integrity.
• Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for storage services, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing support during critical incidents or system maintenance to ensure uptime.
• Conduct performance testing and optimization, ensuring storage systems meet defined SLAs and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Qualifications

• Hiring Range in USD: $89,200 - $209,500 per year.
• May be eligible for bonus and equity.
• Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
• Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
• The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.
