About the role
Raytheon’s Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit specializes in multi-domain integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics, effectors, and cyber solutions. This role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining reusable ground system software within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reusable ground system software.
- Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience developing software using C++ and Python.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
We Prefer
- Experience developing software using Java.
- Knowledge of Agile software development.
- Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, and Git.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
