Senior Software Developer (Front End), Trading

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Front End), Trading to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and improving client-facing trading experiences that support critical order entry and execution journeys. You will own complex frontend projects end to end, partnering closely with Product and Design to turn business goals into reliable, high-quality outcomes. The work will require thoughtful architectural decisions, strong technical leadership, and a balance of speed, scale, and user trust in a high-stakes financial environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Own complex, end-to-end frontend projects for trading experiences Build and enhance client-facing surfaces for order flow and trading products Work on high-stakes client journeys such as order entry and execution Make architectural decisions that balance speed, quality, and scale Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify goals and deliver outcomes Ensure reliability and observability across trading journeys Leverage AI tools to improve development speed and safety Raise the technical bar through mentorship and code reviews Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade systems Strong frontend skills in React and TypeScript; React Native is a plus Native mobile experience with Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android is advantageous Experience with AI-centric development workflows Strong product judgment and a maker-owner mindset Technical leadership and strong communication skills Benefits Top-tier health benefits and life insurance Long-term group savings with employer match 20 vacation days, 4 wellness days, and unlimited sick and mental health days Work outside Canada for up to 90 days per year Inclusive employee resource groups Collaborative hybrid work environment with talented teammates Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
