About the role
The Role Design, develop, and enhance Tactical Signature Guidance (TSG) systems, including sonar tactical decision aids (TDAs). Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges with innovative solutions. Mentor a distributed team of developers within an agile framework. Collaborate with a program of over 50 members on mission-critical software. Support hardware system configuration and integration efforts. Drive process improvements and introduce innovative workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Tactical Signature Guidance (TSG) systems, including sonar tactical decision aids (TDAs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges with innovative solutions.
- Mentor a distributed team of developers within an agile framework.
- Collaborate with a program of over 50 members on mission-critical software.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience developing real-time acoustic signal processing algorithms, parallel processing, SOA, or signal processing systems.
- Proficiency in Java and C++ is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with sonar and/or Navy Command and Control (C2) systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- IAT Level I or higher certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
