About the role

The Montana VA Health Care System - Mental Health Service is recruiting for one Senior Social Worker - Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery Program (ICMHR) Case Manager at the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center in Fort Harrison, Montana.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients and families experiencing complex emotional, medical, and social issues.
• Independently assess psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and families.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, identifying problems, strengths, coping skills, and support needs.
• Utilize supportive counseling, problem‑solving, and crisis intervention techniques to manage and support mental health crises.
• Complete screenings and assessments of Veteran referrals, determine clinical eligibility, and present findings to the ICMHR treatment team.
