Senior Sitecore Architect

Location: Raritan, NJ | Position Type: Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sitecore Architect / Hands-on Sitecore Technical Lead with 10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years of recent hands-on Sitecore development. This is a full hands-on role where you will design solutions, lead a team of developers, and engage directly with clients.

Requirements

• 7+ years of recent hands-on experience with Sitecore, including 2+ years with Sitecore headless architecture and 1+ years with Sitecore 10.x
• Certified on Sitecore 10, XM Cloud, or Sitecore AI CMS
• Awarded Sitecore MVP in recent years
• Expert knowledge of Sitecore architecture, covering all aspects of development and deployment for both support and development projects
• Experience with SXA, Helix, search solutions, customizations, integrations, and troubleshooting production issues within SLAs
• Experience with Sitecore upgrades and Sitecore on Azure, including DevOps practices
• Proven experience as a Sitecore Architect for implementation programs, capable of designing solutions and engaging in client discussions
• Experience leading teams of developers for Sitecore implementations
• Familiarity with Sitecore Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
• Recent hands-on experience with Vercel, Next.js, React.js (headless preferred), and front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React, CSS)
• Experience with microservices and platform-agnostic knowledge (Azure/AWS/Google)
• Excellent communication, articulation, thought leadership, and analytical thinking skills
• Willingness to perform hands-on development when needed

Responsibilities

• Design Sitecore solutions in line with best practices
• Collaborate with client business and technical teams to clarify requirements, design solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations
• Engage with customers and their architects on solutioning and Sitecore architecture
• Resolve technical blockers for the team and guide them on Sitecore best practices, Helix, and SXA
• Review team’s work to ensure adherence to standards
