About the role

Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to support the Army G-2’s Data Capabilities Division (DCD), Intelligence and Automation Operations (IAO) at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves designing, customizing, and maintaining SharePoint applications and portals to synchronize intelligence content and ensure seamless data access.

Responsibilities

  • SharePoint Customization & Development: Design, build, and modify custom SharePoint applications, web parts, and advanced workflows.
  • Front-End Integration: Develop clean, intuitive user interfaces for high-visibility portals and repositories using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in the SDLC under Agile/SCRUM, estimating effort and aligning with mission priorities.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous testing methods including Unit, System, Functional, and UAT.
  • Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and report software defects using a bug tracking system.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior personnel on development best practices and procedural standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of dedicated experience in SharePoint Development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SDLC via Agile, SCRUM, or Lean methodologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience conducting various development testing methods (Unit, System, Functional, UAT).
  • Minimum 5 years of defect documentation using bug-tracking software.
  • Minimum 5 years of mentoring junior development personnel.
  • Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance with SBI and CI polygraph eligibility.
  • Validated DoD 8570.1-M / DoDD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
