Responsibilities

• Provides specific treatment only as directed by the Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapist.
• Adheres to standards of physical medicine practice for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric patients and the general patient population.
• Affords patients assistance in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while teaching them to live within their capabilities.
• Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and handles constantly changing situations.
• Handles a variety of people, stressful situations, and conflict.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current BCLS certification preferred.
