About the role

The Detection and Response team at CoreWeave empowers and deploys decisive action across the enterprise to react to security threats. They also design security-related detections and engineer automations which reduce the need for human intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Help design, deploy, and maintain the Securing Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) capabilities of a multi-billion dollar platform as a service company.
  • Develop automations which will interact across multiple different products and services (both internal and external) to secure the enterprise.
  • Develop integrations and workflows to enrich decision-making.
  • Leverage AI tooling to provide system operators and security personnel with additional context for security events and alerts.
  • Write production quality code with unit and integration tests to create a mature internal service offering to the security organization.

Requirements

  • You are a detection engineer or incident responder who is also a confident developer.
  • You have at least 4-5 years of experience in developing security tooling using Python, GoLang, or similar scripting/programming languages.
  • You have some prior experience leveraging modern software deployment and orchestration stacks such as ArgoCD and Kubernetes.
  • You have experience using source code management tools like Git.

Preferred

  • (if applicable) Experience with Kubernetes
