For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Incident Response to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote - US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the response to all security events and incidents within the company’s global ecosystem.
  • Document incidents and create best practices for knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate to address challenges posed by diverse threat actors.
  • Drive enhancements from security incidents to improve overall security posture.
  • Quickly learn new technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee the entire security incident lifecycle and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders to maximize team impact.
  • Provide mentorship and support for team development and success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of security incident response experience in a production-cloud environment.
  • Expertise in security issues and technologies.
  • Proficient in using AI for complex security incident responses.
  • Advanced knowledge of service-oriented architectures and relevant security tools.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms and extending their functionalities.
  • Knowledge of SOAR tools for automating security processes.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Strong communication skills for effective relationship building.

Pay

$141,520 – $208,000 annually
