Senior Security Engineer - Federal

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Security Engineer - Federal to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will support federal-focused customer engagements by serving as a technical expert in pre-sales conversations, demonstrations, and technical account management. The position will partner closely with regional sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to build trust, solve complex security challenges, and uncover new business opportunities. Success in this role will require strong command of security engineering concepts, networking, and cloud security, along with the ability to communicate technical value clearly across functions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $149,100 – $250,600 annually Responsibilities Provide pre-sales support and technical account management for regional sales teams Lead customer and partner demonstrations and serve as the subject matter expert for problem-solving Communicate effectively across teams to ensure stakeholder alignment Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's product line Build strong technical relationships with customers and partners to identify new opportunities Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a Technical Account Management or Security Engineering role Large account management experience is required Deep understanding of security-focused product lines, including CASB, EDR, and SIEM Strong knowledge of networking and L3 to L7 OSI layers Good understanding of Incident Response and Cloud Security methodologies Benefits Competitive base pay and incentive plan eligibility Participation in employee equity plan Comprehensive health care insurance Access to retirement savings plans and income protection services Generous time away from work for personal needs and wellness Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
