Senior Security Engineer, Bug Bounty
The Senior Security Engineer, Bug Bounty role is seeking a proactive individual to strengthen security practices and improve vulnerability discovery and resolution for a global technology platform. Key responsibilities include:
Lead vulnerability discovery and remediation initiatives
Scale security programs and improve organizational resilience
Own and evolve the bug bounty program strategy
Manage vulnerability intake, triage, validation, and analysis
Partner with engineering and security teams for remediation efforts
Investigate root causes of security issues and recommend improvements
Collaborate with incident response teams on active security events
Conduct targeted code reviews and security assessments
Develop and improve internal tooling and automation capabilities
Requirements
Hands-on security engineering experience with practical vulnerability management
Demonstrated experience operating, scaling, or contributing to bug bounty programs
Experience analyzing applications, systems, and code to identify vulnerabilities
Familiarity with modern cloud environments and secure development practices
Ability to create security tools or automation scripts using languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or JavaScript
Strong understanding of application security concepts and secure development practices
