About the role

As Giga’s first dedicated Senior Security Engineer, you will own the security posture of an AI platform processing millions of sensitive enterprise interactions. This is a hands-on role where you will build security tooling, architect robust authorization systems, and tackle emerging AI-specific threats like prompt injection to ensure data integrity.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement end-to-end application security, focusing on API integrity, role-based access controls, and robust audit logging for enterprise customers.
• Build and maintain automated security infrastructure, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and CI/CD security checks using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams to embed security into the core architecture of Giga's real-time voice and chat agents.

Qualifications

• Have 4+ years of professional experience in security engineering with a strong background in software development using Python or TypeScript.
• Proven track record of securing production cloud environments (AWS/Kubernetes) and handling sensitive enterprise data at scale.
• Proactive mindset that views security as an enabler of speed, capable of building tools that help the team ship faster and more securely.
