Senior Security Consultant

About the role

You will work as part of a team of consultants based in Zaventem and will work for customers who are mainly based in Belgium. Occasional travel abroad could be required depending on the ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Discover and test new solutions, components or features
• Participate in trainings and obtain the required certifications
• Build architectures and designs based on customers’ requirements
• Perform audits and suggest improvements
• Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations
• Elaborate, implement and maintain customized solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Provide pre-sales technical support
• Keep up to date on new technologies, standards and evolutions
• Run technical product trainings
• Provide support for customer product evaluations
• Resolve incidents and problems raised by the customer and escalate to providers if needed
• Participate in projects and coordinate activities
• Document customers’ infrastructures and implementation details

Requirements

Must have

• Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and network protocols such as TCP/IP, as well as the network core services (DHCP, IPAM, DNS)
• Solid experience in perimeter security (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, Network Access Control, penetration testing)
• High experience in content security (anti-malware, web security software/appliances, URL filtering, content inspection)
• Strong skills on Identity Management technologies
• Knowledge of security management solutions (Unified Threat Management, SIEM, audit)
• Experience in Security governance and regulations
• Ability to adapt, enjoy working as part of a team, and have strong relational skills
• Excellent analytical and editorial skills and the ability to assess a situation
• Proactive, independent, accurate, and aware of the importance of deadlines
• Good verbal and written communications skills in Dutch, French, and English
• Ability to constantly improve your knowledge to meet industry requirements
• Good time management skills

Nice to have

• Recognized professional qualifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM) and certifications (F5, Check Point)
• Experience with Checkpoint, F5, Okta
