Senior Security Cloud Architect

About the role

The IT Risk & Security Consultant will join the Global IT Risk & Security team, reporting to the Manager Cyber Operations. This role involves providing operational support, security planning, consulting, and assessments services across the enterprise, with a particular focus on cloud technologies from AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements security standards, processes, and procedures for IT risk and security operations, focusing on cloud-based technologies.
• Maintains and monitors IT Risk & Security services to ensure compliance and meet service level objectives.
• Collaborates with technology and business groups worldwide to assess, implement, and monitor cloud security risks and hazards.
• Reports on security performance against established metrics and provides consulting services to help business units meet their needs.
• Manages risk tolerance and investments, performing IT investigations and analyzing network and computer digital forensics.
• Works independently or collaboratively to conduct IT investigations and analyses, using a standard case management approach.
• Writes proposals and estimates project costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, with 4-6 years of relevant work experience, or 9-11 years of relevant work experience in cloud security best practices, architectural guidance, and cyber incident response.
• Ability to communicate complex and technical issues effectively to diverse audiences, both orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to act decisively and swiftly, identify problems, and drive towards solutions.
• Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with cloud-native security solutions and design best practices in AWS and Azure.

Skills

• Strong team-player capable of building relationships and working with new acquaintances quickly and confidently, partnering with stakeholders globally across multiple organizations, including external government organizations such as US-CERT, DHS, FBI, and ICS-CERT as needed.
