About the role

The Senior Security Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining security automation solutions that enhance the organization's overall security posture. This includes working closely with other security teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security automation solutions using various programming languages and tools.
  • Develop and maintain security automation scripts and workflows to automate routine security tasks.
  • Collaborate with security architects and engineers to integrate new security technologies and improve existing systems.
  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular testing and monitoring of security automation systems to identify and address issues promptly.
  • Document and communicate security automation processes and procedures to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, including experience with security automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain complex automation solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based security platforms and tools.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with security orchestration and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Understanding of security protocols and best practices.
  • Experience with security monitoring and logging tools.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule
