About the role
The main purpose of this job is to monitor and process industry Trade Settlement activity as well as, resolve reconciliation breaks, failed trade activity, money market repo trade settlement and assist with client trade inquiries, while ensuring timely and accurate posting for events within the business line.
Responsibilities
- Process trade settlement activity associated with various functions within the business line
- Perform complex problem resolution on inquiries
- Demonstrate subject matter expert (SME) level knowledge of traded securities and complex asset types
- Avoid downstream impacts and reputational risk by ensuring accurate processing
- Identify and mitigate liability risks associated with asset or settlement activities
- Monitor, research, and resolve discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Perform special project-related work as assigned
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Traded/Non-Traded Security Types and the impact various set-up functions have on other aspects of security processing
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to solve complex issues and make decisions
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to think with a growth mindset and recommend ways to streamline processes for efficiency
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong collaborator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3+ years of Financial Services Industry related experience with securities knowledge required

Pay
Compensation Range: Hourly: $23.80 - $27.65 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
Schedule
Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week
