About the role
The Department Assistant will support multiple departments including Neurosciences, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgery, with a focus on managing Pillar 2 and 3 medical student clerkships. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of schedules, communicating schedule changes, and collaborating with students and faculty.Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of various and frequently changing schedules.
- Communicate schedule changes to all necessary parties.
- Collaborate with students and faculty to coordinate clinical rotations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of modern office/clerical procedures and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Experience with office equipment and software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, residents, faculty, and staff.
