Senior Secondary Markets Analyst

About the role

The Sr. Secondary Markets Analyst analyzes interest rate risk for mortgage loans related to maintaining loans and delivering into the secondary market. This position works independently, accurately, and efficiently to resolve any issues and collaborates closely with various internal and external departments, groups, and vendors. Additionally, this role works with the Senior Vice President Secondary Marketing to develop risk-management strategies using secondary market investment tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze interest rate risk for mortgage loans
• Maintain loans and deliver into the secondary market
• Resolve any issues independently and efficiently
• Collaborate with internal and external departments, groups, and vendors
• Work with the Senior Vice President Secondary Marketing to develop risk-management strategies
• Employ secondary market investment tools and techniques

Requirements

• Four year college degree in business preferred
• 7-10 years of mortgage banking experience, or equivalent combination of both
• Data driven and analytical with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of Excel and Word
